Given that the dilemma is either the complete extermination of the Alawites and other minorities, or a separate Alawite state, the choice is obvious. Al-Jolani must not be given the opportunity to control all of Syria.
Either Al-Jolani will be overthrown, or Syria will be divided into smaller states.
Kurds, Druze, Alawites, and other minorities must be immediately armed and must secede from Al-Jolani's caliphate.
Greece must help in equipping the minorities and in overthrowing Al-Jolani if it wants to avoid signing a Turkish-Syrian memorandum and establishing a Zionist colony opposite Cyprus.
It must certainly contribute to the declaration of an independent Alawite state under Greek protection. An Hellenic air-naval base must be established in Latakia to protect the strategic borders of Hellenism in the Middle East.
There is no time to lose. Greece must adopt a strategy to counter neo-Ottomanism and its geopolitical competitors in the Middle East.
Syria, along with Lebanon, must be cornerstones of the forward Greek defense. They must not be controlled by strategic competitors of Greece.
